In recent years, the interest in the social and sustainability sectors: corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainable environments (S) business practices, socially responsible investment and social governance has expanded immensely. Research continues to show that social, environmental, ethical and financial returns can be gained in parallel when social responsibility and sustainability become integrated with business strategy.
The Dorman Group LLC, formerly LyCom Enterprises, Inc. was re-launched in March 2008 by CEO and chief responsibility officer, Lynda Dorman as a response to these developments and opportunities. Our core practice is delivering CSR-S strategies and initiatives to help companies and organizations implement socially responsible business solutions. By observing how some companies and organizations still don’t get it - the 'triple bottomline'- we work with companies and organizations to help take the blinders off, and drive toward improving their contribution to "it" - people, planet, profits.
We deliver on our services by keeping top of mind:
Our Clients. What sets The Dorman Group LLC apart is our ability to deliver comprehensive and innovative initiatives and our customer service. We spend time listening and learning – at our expense, to why you’re in business, what your customers say about you, and why your employees are committed to their work as a start.
Our Creativity. We network a variety of individual talents and expertise to create work of the highest quality. Our culture is one of integrity in work and life, and innovation through teamwork, mutual respect shared upfront rather than restrained or earned, and appreciation for the spiritual influence that often is refrained from the business discussion.
Our Resourcefulness. We maintain an updated area of corporate social responsibility and sustainability information, new research and emerging trends on our website under the “CSR-S Resources" and welcome input from our visitors on content for this area.
Our Learning. We adhere to CSR-S policies and maintain active membership in peer-learning groups such as Global Reporting Initiative, Corporate Responsibility Officer Association and Net Impact. We challenge ourselves to improve so that we can pass our learning on to you. We also increase our knowledge by remaining connected to organizations such as the United Nations (Global Compact), Centre for Social Impact, Resources for the Future, Ethisphere, Social Venture Alliance, Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsiblity, global academic CSR-S institutes and centers, and many others.
Our Communities. We believe in the Christian principle that you receive more by giving and so to demonstrate this, we donate personal and professional time and financial resources to initiatives that make a difference in the lives of our youth. The return is immeasurable.
